Hi i am facing the problem with solaris booting, the situation is..

"I have installed window on one partition of my hard disk and after
this i have installed solaris 10 on another partition of same hard
disk, after this it works nice, when i start my compuer it shows me a
solaris boot menu to select which operating system to load. Now the
problem is that i have my window to crashed so i did re install it on
the same partition and now it does not show me the solaris boot menu
and starts window automatically. Now how can i boot my solaris? Is
there any way to recover it? Or how can i recover my data on solaris
system? is there any way to mount solaris 10 disk on window xp so i
can recover my data?"

Please help is required.

Thanks

Hi

You need to make the Solaris partition active. You can do this with a
tool like fdisk, gparted, Partition Magic.
